After graduating from the University of Washington with a BBA degree, Christian started his financial planning practice at a large insurance company. There, he spent five years working as an advisor and developing financial plans for his clients and eventually attained the marks of CFP®.  Christian joined Shilanski & Associates, Inc. in 2020 after deciding he wanted to take his practice to a new level, where he could truly deliver unbiased and comprehensive planning to clients.

Christian grew up in the South Puget Sound area of Washington state, which is where he currently resides with his wife and four children.  Outside of family time, Christian likes fishing, crabbing, clamming, and cooking with and for his family.
